It never fails, when the snow falls people get sick and it's usually pretty nasty. Maybe it's because it's tougher to get to them, maybe it's only because it takes an extra three or four minutes to clean the snow off the car... all the while thinking "there is a person somewhere who's not breathing who needs my help" but you seem to remember the snowstorm calls.
Anyway the time it took to get the car ready to go, and to get to the firehouse. I missed the truck and the captain held it to one truck.

Back in the saddle
After a bit of time, and apparently a lot of ball busting I'm back.
We caught an EMS run last night while I was at the station. Basically an older woman in the midst of a panic attack about getting to the hospital. Medics treated and I used it as an opportunity to familiarize myself with the O2 bag. We went available shortly after arriving.
